Data security
Data security matters. Any reusable data-bearing equipment should be securely wiped before being passed on. Where appropriate, devices can be processed before reuse, donation, resale, parts use or recycling.
What happens to donated equipment?
Your unwanted equipment may be refurbished for reuse, donated to a school or charity, supplied at low cost, sold to fund the CIC, used for parts, or recycled responsibly depending on its condition and suitability.
